About The Shoreline Gators
Born to Swim
Why choose the Shoreline Pool this summer? Because we make a splash and have a blast! Being a part of this team provides athletes with the opportunity to compete in five fun swim meets (meet participation is optional). Practices are held Monday through Thursday, with the option to register for either morning or evening practices. Athletes are responsible for their own transportation. We have gathered an enthusiastic coaching staff, and they are very excited about the upcoming season!
The Shoreline Pool Gators are a part of the CRAZE Summer Swim League (CSSL). The main objective of this league is to provide a team-oriented, fun-filled experience for swimmers ages 5 through 18. While competition has its place in this program, the focus is on recreational swimming improvement and developing lifelong skills. CSSL’s participating teams hail from the cities of Snohomish, Kirkland, Edmonds, Lynnwood, Mountlake Terrace Shoreline and Everett.
Registration fees include four (4) practices each week for the duration of the season, a Gators swim cap and t-shirt, and the option to participate in all scheduled CSSL swim meets.

CRAZE League Purpose
Swimming At Our Best
The CRAZE Swim League strives to instill ideals, values, and behavior based on its purposes and goals. The CRAZE Swim League has never been an end in itself, but rather a vehicle for achieving a much more global purpose.
The Craze Swim League program was created and designed to be a program with a strong recreational format for the non-ranked, non-sanctioned participant. Competition has its place in the program and all participants are encouraged to do their best, but it must be emphasized that this is of secondary importance. The development of skills and sportsmanship, while stressing participation for all and assuring each swimmer experiences some degree of success are the main goals of this program.
Concern for sports involvement is at the broad participation level rather than in fine-tuning the elite athlete. Teaching the fundamental skills, encouraging lifetime involvement in physical activity, strengthening the values of fitness, health, and self-respect for others are central themes in the CRAZE Swim League philosophy.
The Craze Summer Swim League assures full compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987, Executive Order 12898, and related statutes and regulations in all programs and activities. Title VI requires that no person in the United State of America shall, on the ground of race, color or national origin be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity… and with the State of Washington's (RCW 49.60.500 & RCW 49.60.010) "Fair Play in Community Sports Act" that prohibits discrimination against any person in a community athletics program on the basis of gender or gender identity. Please have all parents, swimmers and coaches contact each team organization to address questions, comments or concerns.
